JOB OPENING: ADMISSIONS SPECIALIST, COLUMBUS CAMPUS

The Salon Institute seeks an Admissions Specialists at our Columbus, Ohio campus. As a key team member, the admissions specialist is responsible for recruitment operations for our 1,800 clock hour Cosmetology Manager Program. The admissions specialist will provide high quality in-person, telephone, e-mail and text outreach to potential students, as well as follow through with application and enrollment of those students.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Contact and follow up with prospective students to secure appointments to tour the academy

• Communicate with prospective students by extensive phone conversations,e-mails, and text messages

• Maintain lead data in our CRM system

• Guide prospective students through the application and enrollment process

• Maintain a positive attitude as well as a positive relationship with students to help ensure retention

• Partner with the Marketing Department and contribute to marketing campaigns as necessary

• Conceptualize and help to develop/execute recruiting efforts and events designed to generate new leads for potential students

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must exhibit a high energy level

• Strong consideration will be given to candidates with previous experience in admissions or sales with a proven successful close record

• Must be self-motivated and able to think outside the box

• Must have passion and determination to educate and deliver exceptional quality service

• Must have the ability to work on a flexible schedule including evening and weekend hours when necessary

• Must have good work ethic, good judgment and superior critical thinking skills

• Must possess excellent attention to details and follow though

• Must take pride in your appearance

• Must be others-minded

• Display strong speed and accuracy skills, typing skills, computer skills

• Excellent communication skills- both written and verbal

• Must show a demonstrated ability to overcome objections

• Ability to work equally independently and as a team
